Go Green with Eco-friendly patio furniture

As responsible citizens, most of us give importance to protecting our environment and saving our planet. We strive to use more eco-friendly products from the cleaning products we use to the rugs that decorate our homes. Manufacturers also have started making products that are designed to conserve natural resources and preserve the environment.

In my previous blogs, I’ve explained about eco-friendly bamboo rugs. Bamboo is classified as a renewable source which takes relatively shorter period of 2 to 6 years to renew and is completely biodegradable. Hence the usage of indoor and outdoor rugs made of bamboo is becoming increasingly popular.

Summer is here and we tend to spend more time in our gardens and decks. Now is the time to decorate our backyards with the most elegant patio furniture sets. But wouldn’t it be satisfying for us if we could decorate it with eco-friendly patio furniture? By doing so, we can feel happy that we did our small share in protecting the environment. These eco-friendly patio furniture come in different classic designs and are crafted from sustainable, natural and recycled materials. The furniture is constructed using durable and environmentally renewable materials like recycled plastic, high quality wood etc. They provide us an easy way to go green without compromising on quality.

I recently got one such set for my own backyard. Everytime I look at the patio furniture, not only am I attracted by the quality and elegance of the set but I also feel happy and proud that I did a little deed to save my planet.

Backpack Beach chairs

Summer is here and many of us will be heading to the beach to escape from the intense heat. There is nothing more enjoyable than having a day of fun at the beach especially if you live in very hot places like California, Arizona etc. When we go to the beach, either for just one day or for a week’s vacation, we need to be properly equipped from our clothing, sunscreen etc down to the beach chair that we take to relax.

For our family’s latest trip to the beautiful Myrtle beach, I purchased a very nice and convenient beach chair. It was one type of backpack beachchairs with comfortable carrying straps. The chair is high-backed and has contoured pillow headrest which helped us to lounge comfortably or even take a short nap. The chair has four reclining positions, a cupholder and plenty of backpack storage space. Since it could be carried like a backpack, it was very convenient and could be used not only at the beach but also for camping, hiking etc.

Along with this beachchair, we also got the ‘Rio wonderwheeler’. It looks like a cart made of mesh fabric with steel frame. It is provided with wheels to make it portable and the handle is cushioned so that it would not hurt our hands while pushing. The wonderwheeler has plenty of cargo space. We practically dumped all our items including the kids playthings like frisbees, footballs, a kite, the cooler with plenty of soft drinks, towels etc. When not in use, it could be folded.
